The 9’ Cal Bear has an EPS foam core with 3 laminated wood stringers for a structured yet flexible, lightweight core and an XPE/IXPE deck skin that provides a texture that’s easier to grip to than a fiberglass board. A traction pad comes already attached to the deck to provide extra footing help once you’re up on that wave and a PU surf leash is included so you don’t get separated from your board when the ride is over.
